As our Specialist of Aviation Fuel, Supplier Management & Procurement, you'll become a subject matter expert in aviation fuel while managing contracts that support TUI Airline's emissions reduction ambitions, playing a vital role in our journey towards sustainable aviation across our global operations.
Job Responsibility
Build subject matter expertise in aviation fuel including sustainable aviation fuel and future fuel pathways, obtaining market intelligence and analyzing developments to contribute to strategic implementation
Manage the procurement process for small to medium value projects, leading negotiations with operational stakeholders while evaluating requests and challenging suppliers to provide innovative solutions
Oversee small-to-medium value contracts throughout their lifecycle, providing guidance on contractual matters while supporting stakeholders and raising awareness around sustainable aviation fuels
Manage escalated contractual claims and disputes, developing long-term supplier relationships through regular performance reviews and analysis of operational risks based on market intelligence
Manage aviation fuel supply assurance and monitor regulatory compliance, supporting sustainable aviation fuel reporting and certification while overseeing emissions-related claims realization
Develop internal and external networks across SM&P, TUI Airline colleagues and suppliers, ensuring optimal input and output while undertaking business travel for meetings and supplier visits
Requirements
You have a relevant undergraduate degree, a CIPS qualification or equivalent experience in procurement or related fields
You're highly proficient in English with knowledge of other languages being desirable, and passionate about sustainability in environmental, commercial and operational contexts
You possess strong business and commercial awareness with the ability to evaluate tangible and intangible costs and benefits effectively
You bring strong numeric and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail, including high proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis
You're experienced in negotiation with excellent communication, influencing and persuading abilities to manage multiple stakeholders across different countries
You're a motivated team player with a 'can-do' attitude, able to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines while thinking creatively and challenging assumptions
