Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical-Functional RPA Developer to join Baxter’s Intelligent Automation team. This role combines hands-on development with business process analysis and solution design. The ideal candidate will build scalable RPA solutions, collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, and ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze and document “as-is” business processes with SMEs
  • identify automation opportunities aligned with business goals
  • Design, develop, and deploy RPA workflows using Microsoft Power Automate (primary), UiPath, or Blue Prism
  • Build integrations with enterprise systems using APIs, Web Services, and connectors
  • Develop reusable components and templates to accelerate automation delivery
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and automation logic
  • Partner with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of RPA solutions with existing applications
  • Provide guidance to citizen developers and business users on best practices and governance
  • Ensure all automations adhere to Baxter’s validation processes and pharma regulatory standards
  • Participate in periodic audits and platform reviews for compliance readiness
  • Apply ITIL principles for change management and incident resolution
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning of RPA workflows
  • Monitor automation performance and implement enhancements based on analytics and feedback
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems with minimal supervision

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in RPA development (Power Automate preferred
  • UiPath/Blue Prism considered)
  • Certification in RPA development (e.g., Power Automate RPA Developer Associate)
  • Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma preferred)
  • Exposure to programming languages (Python, Java) and integration tools (API, Web Services)
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) and ITIL processes
  • Understanding of pharma regulatory requirements and validation standards
