Joining us as a Regional Commercial Manager for the Northern Europe team has never been a better time to be part of our success. Reporting to the Commercial Lead team lead, you will be key to leading commercial related activities in the Spain, and will support the plan and execution of profitable and innovative business solutions for Group Enterprise. This includes some of Vodafone’s largest customers across IoT. You will perform a highly consultative and customer facing role, aligning closely with the Sales teams to ensure deep understanding of the customer’s business challenges. You will drive the creation of commercial strategies and proposals for increasingly complex deals that deliver growth to the region. You will also ensure adaptation of the global IoT commercial model to local requirements and manage the right engagement with Operating Companies.
Job Responsibility
Accountable for Commercial Development of Global IoT opportunities in support of the Sales teams
Commercial point of contact for the Sales community in the region to support the sales teams
Driving local commercial strategy and process and adapt global elements to local demands
Supporting and engaging local Operating Companies and the IoT OpCo Alignment specialist
Sharing best practice across all regions and feedback suggestions on areas where efficiencies can be harnessed
Delivering revenue growth and increase market share whilst maintaining margins
Satisfaction of internal stakeholders, Sales, Finance, CSO & Legal, Product Management and Group Technology
Improving and enhancing the internal stakeholder and external customer experience via assistance in the delivery of bespoke solutions tailored to customer expectation, whilst fulfilling Vodafone profitability measures and targets
Attending Key Customer meetings with the associated Account Teams as part of the Bid Strategy/ effectively prepare and lead internal or external commercial negotiations
Delivering complex deal pricing strategy and propositions for IOT’s Global Strategic accounts
Enhancing Commercial frameworks, tools, governance and processes
Setting the prices and meeting margin requirements for all IoT sales opportunities
Leading sales and customer focused commercial activities to deliver profitable growth for Group Enterprise, while proactively managing Vodafone’s commercial risk
Delivery of the regional commercial strategy, based on strong current market and competitive knowledge
Leverage strong relationships to align stakeholders, influence outcomes, and deliver the best of Vodafone to our enterprise customer base
Attend C-Level Customer meetings and manage relationships to drive successful contract negotiations
Requirements
Proven Commercial and Finance acumen to profitably drive both established and new differentiated services in a competitive market
Experienced working on complex sales pursuits in either a commercial, sales or bid related role
Strong of experience working for global corporates/organisations
Solid experience in Commercial, Sales or Operations, leading teams in the delivery of complex, global projects
Exceptional Commercial acumen applied to deliver superior results
Data driven with strong analytical and insight focus
Experience in Global Business Development
Commercially focussed, and comfortable managing large and complex global bids
Understand the competitive landscape of our markets, with focus on IOT and C&S, and of our customer base, and act as a credible advisor to CxO level
