Job Description:

The International Calling & Roaming Specialist will drive the end-to-end strategy, performance, and growth of international calling and roaming services within the Prepaid business. The role focuses on developing customer-centric propositions, managing pricing and partner relationships, improving customer experience across all touchpoints, and ensuring strong commercial performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, enhance, and manage prepaid international calling and roaming products and bundles
  • Monitor product performance and lead continuous improvements to ensure competitiveness
  • Partner with the roaming team to implement new bilateral agreements and pricing offers
  • Conduct competitor analysis and propose counter-strategies
  • Track, analyze, and report on KPIs including usage, revenue, ARPU uplift, and subscriber penetration
  • Work with Finance to assess business cases and support budgeting cycles
  • Identify growth opportunities in diaspora calling and inbound/outbound roaming
  • Collaborate with CVM, Analytics, and Customer Operations to identify pain points and improve customer experience
  • Develop customer awareness campaigns to improve usage and transparency
  • Coordinate with Marketing and the Agency to develop communication and digital campaigns
  • Ensure frontline teams understand roaming and international calling offerings
  • Ensure visibility of offers on digital channels (App, USSD, Website)
  • Support CVM and Digital teams in targeted campaigns
  • Drive adoption of self-service channels for roaming activation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, Telecommunications, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Commercial/Marketing is an added advantage
  • Certifications in telecom roaming, international voice, or pricing appreciated
  • 3–5 years’ experience in telecom, preferably in product management, international calling, roaming, prepaid segment management, or commercial analytics
  • Strong understanding of mobile telecom ecosystem including prepaid, international voice, roaming agreements, and pricing structures
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technology, finance, and marketing teams
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset
