Randstad Education is seeking a highly committed and enthusiastic English Teacher with a strong background in Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join a supportive school in Liverpool on a long-term basis. This is an impactful role for a professional eager to positively transform the learning journey and outcomes for students requiring tailored educational support.
Job Responsibility:
Planning and delivering exceptional English lessons that are specifically differentiated and modified to suit a wide range of SEN requirements
Skilfully utilising developmental frameworks, such as P Scales, to ensure content is appropriate and measurable for student progress
Cultivating a positive, secure, and respectful classroom atmosphere that fosters the holistic well-being and academic growth of every student
Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the broader pastoral team to deliver coordinated and comprehensive student support plans
Providing necessary personal care assistance as part of a student-centred approach
Requirements:
Mandatory Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in the UK
Substantial, verifiable experience educating pupils with diverse SEN within a UK school environment
Demonstrated proficiency in differentiated teaching strategies, inclusive pedagogical practices, and highly effective behaviour management techniques
Excellent capacity for patience, high levels of empathy, outstanding communication, and a proactive team-player mindset
Must already hold an active DBS check on the Update Service or be prepared to immediately commence a new application
