Job Responsibility:
Support engineering teams in executing maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities across facility systems and equipment
Provide rapid response troubleshooting and implement solutions for major equipment failures to minimize operational disruptions
Identify and support cost-saving maintenance projects that optimize facility performance and reduce operational expenses
Develop comprehensive repair and maintenance plans for major equipment that can be executed by internal engineering teams
Create, manage, and close work orders in CMMS systems, accurately documenting labor hours, equipment maintenance activities, and parts utilization
Assist with critical system shutdowns and start-ups during scheduled repair and maintenance activities
Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless facility operations and maintain positive working relationships across all operational areas
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent education
Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance with demonstrated technical competency
Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays in response to emergency equipment failures
Proficiency with PC applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication
Ability to lift parts and tools weighing up to 49 pounds and perform physical demands including repetitive bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods
Strong commitment to safety procedures and maintaining ethical, professional relationships with contractors and customers
Nice to have:
Associate's degree or higher from vocational school or college with focus in Mechanical or Electrical fields
5+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and industrial electronics
5+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance programs and reading blueprints/schematics
4+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Electrical trades
3+ years of work order management experience, preferably with CMMS systems like Corrigo
Previous leadership experience and vendor management capabilities
