Job Description

We’re looking for a Specialist Distribution Center to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store “tMart”, which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq!

Job Responsibility

  • Understand and analyze DC operations to bridge process requirements with technical solutions effectively
  • Translate DC team's process requirements into actionable technical task for DH and MSD vendor team operations
  • Fulfill role of WMS knowledge expert for warehouse management system implementation through all project phases from requirements gathering/analysis through go-live support and hypercare
  • Work with 3rd-party WMS vendors to develop effective solutions, communicate feature requirements, stage testing, and conduct UAT Testing
  • Participate in integration meetings with technical teams to help determine specifications relative to integration mapping and product configuration
  • Assist in the development of test plans, data, and cycles to ensure that all requirements identified in the requirements gathering phase will be validated
  • Have strong documentation skills, particularly in creating process and training documents
  • Develop SLAs and SOPs for feature usage, bug reporting, and system issues FAQs
  • Document any new applicable functional requirements as necessary for enhancements to core products to meet scope of proposed solution
  • Create and update training materials as needed
  • Work with DH product team to ensure seamless integration and alignment for new product development
  • Ensure DC team follows correct processes in on-ground operations and MSD postings to avoid matching errors
  • Manage the slow/overstock and non-moving inventory through generated reports to limit any potential loss and report to the DC’s of inventory changes
  • Analyzes and investigates system transactions, inventory data entry etc to ensure overall accuracy
  • Support feasibility study for mini DC Concept or Partial Centralization in current Dmart stores in countries with no DC
  • Provide a detailed capacity/costs analysis and align with relevant stakeholders on the outcome
  • Develop workflows for season management of excess stocks in such mini DC concept store based on MOQ/ high season sales/etc

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Two (2) to Three (3) years’ experience utilizing a major WMS platform
  • MSD 360 WMS preferred
  • Extremely organized and process-driven
  • Analytical skill set demonstrated by an advanced proficiency in GSheet, MS Excel, Data studio
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations and WMS applications, with hands on experience with Microsoft dynamics strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across a set of stakeholders
