Job Description:

Join an impactful educational setting dedicated to early intervention. We support young children who have been excluded from school, are at risk of exclusion, or exhibit behaviour associated with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Our goal is to ensure a successful reintegration into mainstream education by improving attitudes toward learning and raising attainment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a small, specialised class of just 4-8 pupils
  • Deliver foundational curriculum content to children with complex needs
  • Improve attitudes toward learning and raising attainment
  • Ensure a successful reintegration into mainstream education

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Strong Behaviour Management: Proven experience in de-escalation and managing SEMH behaviours
  • Early Years/Foundational Expertise: Comfort teaching at a Reception level
  • Resilience: A calm, patient, and persistent approach
