Job Description:

This position involves overseeing security alarm systems, monitoring alarms, and responding in real-time to ensure the safety and security of associates, customers, and facilities. Schedule: 10pm to 6:30am CST (3rd shift). Location: Fully onsite in Bentonville, AR. with the potential to be temporarily located in Pineville, MO during disaster recovery scenarios.

Job Responsibility:

  • Investigating alarms and alerting appropriate authorities (fire services, or police)
  • Notifying responsible field management of alarm activations
  • Assist associates with safety or security events
  • Conduct reviews of multiple alarm systems and ensure panel programming compliance
  • Track and coordinate emergency response for in-home delivery incidents
  • Coordinating corporate responses to safety/security events through advisories
  • Compiling incident reports for apprehensions/property loss that occur from alarm activations
  • Following company policies for managing incidents from minor issues to nationwide impacts
  • Ensuring confidentiality of customer information

Requirements:

Must be proficient in typing/basic computer skills and customer service

Nice to have:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience with security or CCTV systems (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Clear and efficient communication skills
  • Previous experience in police dispatch or emergency services
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Gained field experience with Wal-Mart and familiarity with Wal-Mart culture
