Job Description

We are seeking Specialised Rig Operators to join our teams, ensuring safe, efficient delivery of ground improvement projects across Australia. This opportunity covers a range of positions such as: Piling Rig Operators, Jet Grouting Rig Operators (KB8, MC22), Deep Soil Mixing Operators, High Pressure Pump Operators (Techniwell Systems). You will work on complex projects across multiple states, operating and maintaining specialist rigs and equipment and ensuring safe, high-quality delivery of ground improvement works.

Job Responsibility

  • Operate and maintain jet grouting rigs (KB8, MC22) and deep soil mixing plant
  • Operate high-pressure pumping systems (Techniwell or similar)
  • Support daily site operations including material handling, rig movements, and site preparation
  • Assist with setup, operation, inspections, routine maintenance, and reporting
  • Follow project plans, safety procedures, and quality requirements
  • Contribute to a strong safety culture and promote teamwork on site

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating piling, jet grouting, or deep soil mixing rigs
  • Experience with high-pressure pumps (Techniwell) is highly desirable
  • Supervisory experience for those applying for leading hand / supervisor positions
  • Strong understanding of site safety and risk management
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with site teams
  • Physically fit and capable of working in demanding outdoor environments
  • High risk work tickets (highly desirable)
  • Commitment to learning and developing skills within the geotechnical industry

Nice to have

  • Experience with high-pressure pumps (Techniwell) is highly desirable
