Job Description:

HammondCare Daw Park, SA is looking for permanent part-time carers to provide tailored care for residents, specifically focusing on dementia care. Responsibilities include personal care, engaging residents in life activities, and monitoring their well-being. Applicants should have a passion for aged care, flexibility in shifts including weekends, and experience with dementia care.

Job Responsibility:

Personal care – showering, grooming, toileting etc
provide life engagement
support residents with levels of dementia
recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents within your skills and competencies

Requirements:

Unlimited work rights
genuine passion for serving elderly people and want to make a difference
flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including nights and weekends
value teamwork but also work independently and show initiative
knowledge and experience of people living with dementia and their needs
Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care would be viewed favourably

Nice to have:

Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care
