Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people & improving quality of life
Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs
Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including Weekday availability (PM – 1430-2115, AM 8.30-1630, 11-7) and Weekend availability (including the above + AM shift 0645-1445) – Fri-Sun
Value teamwork, autonomy and sharing knowledge
Cert lll or Cert lV in Aged Care or be studying towards a healthcare related degree would be viewed favourably

Job Responsibility

Meal preparation and laundry - cooking, washing clothes, food preparation and safe storage
Personal care – showering, grooming, toileting etc
Provide life engagement and interaction with other staff and families
Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents
