Job Description:

This role provides essential and practical care to older people, helping them live independently in their homes and improving their quality of life.

Job Responsibility:

Providing personal care - helping with showering and dressing
helping around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaning
providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
assisting with medication

Requirements:

Valid Driver’s Licence
access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance)
ideally Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
flexibility around meeting changing needs of home care clients
ability to relate to people
patient and solutions-focused

Nice to have:

Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
