HammondCare Caulfield is currently looking for PPT Carers to join our team. Our Cottage style homes provide low and high care for residents with Dementia. You will be running the cottage like a home, which will include personal care, domestic assistance, and engaging with the residents.

Job Responsibility:

  • Personal care – showering, grooming, toileting, dressing
  • Domestic assistance - cooking, cleaning and laundry
  • Engaging with the residents, ensuring they are involved in the activities they WANT to do
  • Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents within your skills and competencies

Requirements:

  • Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people & want to make a difference in their lives
  • Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including nights & weekends
  • Value teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiative
  • Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs
  • Applicants with Cert lll or Cert lV in Aged Care would be viewed favourably
