Job Description:

Randstad Education is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rewarding role where your support will truly count.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of Special needs
  • Assist the teacher with different classroom activities
  • Support classroom routines, behaviour management, and personal care when necessary
  • Encourage student participation and build their confidence
  • Develop positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience working with children or young people (ideally in a school or SEN setting)
  • Calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and references from recent employers
  • Should be able to work long-term full-time, 5 days a week, between 8.30 AM to 3.30 PM
