Job Responsibility
Work on a 1:1 or small group basis with children who have Special Educational Needs
Lesson/work planning for the students you are working with
Utilise learning schemes in order to progress your student's learning
Report back to parents and teachers regarding the students progress
Supporting children's physical, social and emotional well-being
Completion of daily records for pupils
Classroom preparation for the following school day
Requirements
Experience working with SEN pupils
An Enhanced child DBS on the update service
Legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
Able to make an impression on both us and our client
Previous experience in Schools is preferred (must be able to provide 2 recent professional references)
Flexibly adhere to the needs of the children in a professional and friendly manner
Good classroom management skills
Managing challenging behaviour and supporting the class teacher
Ability to assist teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment for children with social, emotional and mental health needs
