Job Description

SEN Teaching Assistant – Havant – Full Time – Temp to Perm. Pink Tile Education are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist setting in Havant from September 2026. This is a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity supporting children and young people with additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties. The school are looking for someone who is calm, resilient and genuinely passionate about helping children feel safe, supported and successful within education.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Working closely with teaching staff and SEN teams
  • Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Helping pupils engage positively within learning
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with students

Requirements

  • Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service
  • Have up-to-date safeguarding training
  • Be able to provide references covering the last 2 years
