Job Description:

This SEN school provides a dynamic and inclusive setting tailored to address the varied needs of our students. They take pride in fostering an environment that not only nurtures academic progress but also fosters personal growth, ensuring that each student feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. This is a long-term, full-time role.

Job Responsibility:

Customize support to meet the unique learning needs of SEN students
Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to cultivate an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere
Assist in maintaining overall classroom order to ensure a positive and engaging learning environment
Establish open communication channels with parents, teachers, and external professionals
Regularly assess and evaluate the academic and social advancement of SEN students
Adapt teaching materials and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs.

Requirements:

Proficiency in various teaching techniques suitable for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
A deep understanding of child development and the learning process
A strong commitment to building positive relationships with children and understanding their requirements
Ability to offer personalized attention, encouragement, and assistance with learning tasks
Either possess an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one through Randstad
Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
