Special Needs Teaching Assistant

• Provide one-on-one and group support to children with complex needs
• Assist in creating and delivering tailored learning plans
• Support the classroom teacher with lesson planning and behaviour management
• Help with personal care and mobility where required
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and support needs
• Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities

• Enhanced DBS check on the updated service or willing to apply for one
• Minimum of 6 months of experience working in UK schools
• Experience working with children with complex educational needs (preferred)
• Able to commit to working long-term/full-time
• Ideally available for 5 days a week (Monday-Friday)
• Can provide professional references from recent employers
• Eligible to work in the UK (ETW)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Team player and able to work collaboratively with colleagues
