Job Description

A warm, welcoming, and part-residential special needs school near you is seeking a fun, friendly, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, permanent position. This fully subscribed school supports learners aged 5 to 19 years with complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Asperger's, and associated learning difficulties. Job Responsibility

Supporting complex SEN learners on a 1:1, small group, and whole-classroom basis
Assisting the class teacher in delivering interactive, accessible lessons and outdoor educational activities
Collaborating with parents, carers, and multi-agency teams regarding student progress and milestones
Participating proactively in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole-school training initiatives

Requirements

GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
Valid right to work in the UK
Direct SEN experience is desirable but not essential
