Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teacher for a full-time, long-term position in Knowsley. We are looking for a teacher who is committed to providing a stimulating and supportive environment for students with diverse and complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD).
Job Responsibility:
Designing and delivering highly differentiated lessons tailored to the individual learning needs of each student
Creating lesson plans that follow the P Scales curriculum framework
Building strong, trusting relationships with students to foster their academic and personal growth
Utilising creative and resilient teaching strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere
Assisting students with personal care routines when required
Requirements:
Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not an option)
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential, or you must be willing to obtain one
Essential prior experience supporting SEN pupils in UK schools
Strong communication and behaviour management skills are a must
Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
