In this role as a SEN Teacher, you will deliver tailored and inclusive lessons to children and young people with a range of additional learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD), and Complex Learning Needs (CLD).
Job Responsibility:
Teach a range of differentiated lessons designed to meet each student's specific educational needs
Create and implement lesson plans that align with the P Scales framework
Develop strong relationships with students to build trust and encourage engagement
Utilise creative and flexible strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom
Provide assistance with student's personal care routines when necessary
Requirements:
You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory (sponsorship is not available for this role)
You must have a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be prepared to apply for one
Essential prior experience supporting SEN pupils in UK schools
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
You must be able to work Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
