Affinity Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting for support staff to work with pupils on a one-to-one basis or within classroom environments across Luton schools. These roles are available to start immediately and will continue through the academic year, with potential for long-term opportunities for the right candidates.
Job Responsibility:
Play a key role in helping students thrive both inside and outside the classroom
Collaborate closely with teaching staff to ensure tailored support is in place
Lead engaging activities that promote well-being and inclusion
Requirements:
Excited about working with children and being creative
Experience managing a class in the absence of the class Teacher
Confident managing children’s behaviour
Emotionally resilient
An approachable, friendly character
Aware or have experience of supporting children and adults with additional needs
Nice to have:
Can offer previous experience with mental health in a supporting capacity
A knowledge or understanding of SEN/SEMH
A confident approach to working with children
An educational background
An enthusiasm to learn, sense of humour and develop professionally
