Job Description:

Our Special Missions division delivers specialist aviation services to the UK Government and industry customers. We deliver a next-generation Search and Rescue contract which operates 24/7/365 out of Prestwick, Humberside and Newquay. We are looking for a Prestwick-based Captain to join our growing team to help us deliver this new and exciting contract. The flying will be varied and challenging, this is not your average A to B aviation job.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivery of specialist surveillance tasks within the UK and neighbouring States
  • Deployment on life-saving Search and Rescue (SAR) missions across the UK
  • Ensuring aircraft are mission-ready
  • Contributing directly to the protection of lives in critical situations
  • Flying the MET B350 with a First Officer multi-pilot, day and night shifts

Requirements:

  • Class 1 medical
  • UK CPL (or ATPL) with IR
  • 1500 + total flying hours (Including 750 PIC, 100 IR and 100 Night)
  • At least 100 hours on King Air Series aircraft (or equivalent, at the discretion of the Director of Flight Operations)
  • Must already have, or have the ability to obtain, UK Security Clearance
  • Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence

Nice to have:

  • Relevant experience in a similar setting (military, police, coastguard)
  • Proven experience in taking a lead pilot/managerial role in a forward operating base
  • A current King Air 350 type rating
