2Excel Special Missions delivers specialist aviation services to the UK Government and industry customers. As part of a dedicated team currently operating out of Humberside Airport, we utilise bespoke designed King Air, Diamond DA-62 MPP and Piper PA31 aircraft to provide Surveillance and Search & Rescue services. Our flying is varied and challenging – not your average A to B aviation job. This is an exciting time for 2Excel as we build and transition into the next generation of Search and Rescue; the successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress within the Company.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivery of specialist surveillance tasks within the UK and neighbouring States
  • Operating Special Missions surveillance aircraft as a single pilot captain

Requirements:

  • Class 1 medical – No restrictions for single pilot flying
  • UK CPL/IR
  • MEP rating
  • 700+ total flying hours
  • Must be able to demonstrate the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold a valid UK Driving Licence
  • Obtain a UK Security Clearance (SC)

Nice to have:

  • DA-42 / DA-62 / PA31 or similar MEP experience
  • Relevant experience in a similar setting (military, police, coastguard)
  • Captaincy experience in a single pilot role
  • Proven experience in taking a lead pilot/managerial role in a forward operating base
