Coastguard Search & Rescue background

Job Responsibility

Pre-flight planning of assigned tasks
Operation of all onboard mission equipment (Turret-based cameras/Radar/Communications)
Optimum positioning of the aircraft and sensors to achieve the task
Co-ordination with other agencies over a variety of communications methods both in the air and on the ground
Equipment troubleshooting and defect solving
Post flight reporting of data collected during the flight
