Job Responsibility:
Create and maintain internal communications and tracking mechanisms for event information collection
coordinate virtual programs for prospective and admitted students including outreach populations
add virtual events in SLATE, create Zoom links, develop event guides and slide shows
collaborate with Visitor Center Lead on staff and student scheduling
establish Zoom best practices and provide training for staff and students
collaborate with teams across the office on programming for families, school counselors, and educators
coordinate logistics for Access Advisory Board events including participant travel
organize travel arrangements for prospective and admitted students and their families
serve as manager-on-call for select events or programs
provide cross-training support with the Visitor Center team for phone lines, front desk, and daily events
manage inbox for relevant programs
Requirements:
High school diploma or graduation equivalent
three years of related experience
experience in coordinating events in higher education or comparable setting
must be at least 21 years of age due to alcohol service at some events
additional education may substitute for required experience
additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma or graduation equivalent
demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
excellent verbal and written communication skills
strong attention to detail
