Job Description:

Randstad Education is urgently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with complex needs at a specialist provision in Lingfield. Due to an immediate requirement, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and provide high-quality support to students with Autism (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).

Job Responsibility:

Specialized 1:1 Support
Providing tailored assistance to students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
Communication Support
Utilizing alternative communication methods
Behavioral Management
Implementing proactive de-escalation techniques
Sensory Integration
Assisting students with sensory processing needs
Personal Care
Assisting with personal care and mobility requirements

Requirements:

Urgent availability to start immediately and commit to a full-time schedule
Previous experience working with SEN (children or adults) highly desirable
Resilience & empathy
Strong communication
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice to have:

Backgrounds in care, support work, or specialist schooling
