Job Description:

Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)? This Ofsted outstanding School is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN TA to join our supportive and dynamic team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support in the delivery of engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
  • Work collaboratively with therapists and support staff to address each child's EHCP goals
  • Foster confidence, respect, and independence in our pupils
  • Use a variety of strategies, including sensory tools and movement breaks, to support learning

Requirements:

  • A TA with experience in SEN or SEMH settings
  • A patient, creative, and resilient individual who can support SEN learners
  • Someone who believes in a holistic approach to education, focusing on both academic and emotional development
  • A team player who is committed to fostering a positive, respectful learning environment
