Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

• Assist subject teachers in delivering accessible lessons across the secondary curriculum
• Foster a positive, mature, and engaging learning environment
• Provide one-to-one or small-group support to facilitate student progress
• Monitor student development and report findings to the SENCO and parents
• Support students during transitions between classes and during break times
• Adhere strictly to the school's safeguarding and inclusion policies

• A true passion for supporting the development of young people
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with teenagers
• A flexible, resilient, and adaptable mindset
• Previous experience supporting individuals with special educational needs (ASD, ADHD, or SEMH)
