Job Description

Are you passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of children with complex learning needs? We are seeking dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to join a vibrant primary special school community in Worthing. The school supports 222 pupils aged 4-11, all of whom have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). As an SEN TA, you will work alongside teachers, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists to help pupils overcome barriers across four key areas: Cognition and Learning; Communication and Interaction; Sensory and Physical Development; Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH). You will have access to facilities including Hydrotherapy Pool, Rebound Therapy, Forest School, Climbing Wall, Sensory, Dark, and Immersive Rooms, and Soft Play areas.
