Job Responsibility

Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEND, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Support pupils to access the curriculum in a way that meets their individual needs
Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive behaviour
Implement behaviour support plans and de-escalation strategies where required
Encourage social skills, communication, and self-esteem
Assist the teacher in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated activities
Adapt learning materials to suit pupils’ abilities and learning styles
Support pupils during practical, outdoor, and vocational activities
Monitor and record pupil progress, behaviour, and wellbeing
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced trauma or disengagement from education
