Job Responsibility:

  • Creating and delivering engaging lessons tailored to students with diverse learning profiles
  • Adapting the curriculum using P Scales and individualised learning plans to ensure every child can succeed
  • Cultivating a classroom environment that is secure, structured, and focused on emotional well-being
  • Collaborating with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to provide a holistic support network
  • Supporting the dignity and comfort of students by providing personal care assistance when required

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Proven experience teaching within the UK SEN sector
  • Expertise in inclusive pedagogy and the ability to differentiate instruction effectively in real-time
  • High levels of emotional intelligence, flexibility, and a calm temperament under pressure
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for a new one)
