SEN Teacher Vacancy: Knowsley. Are you an experienced and dedicated teacher with a passion for special educational needs? We are seeking a dynamic SEN Teacher to fill an immediate vacancy in a supportive school in Knowsley. If you have the skills to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student can excel, we want to hear from you. As an SEN Teacher, you will be working with students who have a range of needs, including Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), ADHD, and Autism.

Job Responsibility:

  • Tailored Instruction: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that are customised to the individual needs of your students
  • Curriculum Delivery: Expertly deliver lessons based on the P Scales curriculum
  • Positive Relationships: Build strong, positive relationships with students to foster a supportive and secure learning atmosphere
  • Behavioural Support: Use creative and effective strategies to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
  • Personal Care: Provide personal care support to students as required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • UK-based experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
  • Availability to work five days a week, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required, or you must be willing to apply for one
  • Legal right to work in the UK without sponsorship
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Immediate availability
