Randstad Education is searching for an enthusiastic and seasoned Educator with expertise in Special Educational Needs (SEN) for a sustained, full-time placement within Knowsley. Job Responsibility:

  • Design and execute dynamic lessons that are carefully tailored to align with the specific learning objectives (IEP goals) of SEN learners, encompassing spoken language, reading, and composition
  • Evaluate student's language and literacy development via both structured and informal assessments, using the resulting data to continually adjust teaching methods and resources
  • Simplify intricate materials and literature to guarantee all pupils can fully access the curriculum, ensuring the content is stimulating and pertinent
  • Work closely with classroom support staff, families, and therapeutic experts to ensure consistent and all-encompassing assistance for the students

Requirements:

  • Mandatory Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Extensive, demonstrable background teaching the national curriculum to students with diverse SEN profiles in British schools
  • Possession of a current Enhanced DBS check or the readiness to acquire one swiftly
  • Deep, operational understanding of proven SEN approaches, including strategies for literacy support and communication technology
  • Outstanding reserves of patience, creativity, strong command of behaviour management, and authoritative classroom presence
