Job Description:

Dedicated SEN Educator Required | Full-Time Role in Knowsley. Randstad Education is searching for a passionate professional to fill a full-time, long-term teaching post. Job Responsibility:

  • Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons perfectly tailored to student's unique SEN requirements, ensuring every learner achieves their potential
  • Implement both formal and continuous informal assessments to accurately monitor student attainment and utilise this vital data to refine your teaching methods
  • Adapt and modify educational materials and learning environments to guarantee complete accessibility for all students
  • Work closely with support staff (TAs), families, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for each child
  • Cultivate and maintain a safe, structured, and welcoming classroom culture, expertly managing behaviour to promote an optimal learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory
  • Significant, proven experience instructing pupils with varied special educational needs within the UK education system
  • A current, clear Enhanced DBS certificate (or readiness to swiftly obtain one)
  • Comprehensive understanding of SEN frameworks, successful intervention strategies, and contemporary educational best practices
  • Demonstrated qualities of resilience, patience, strong initiative, and effective classroom management
