Job Description:

We are on the lookout for an empathetic and focused SEN Support Specialist to provide individualised assistance and drive pupil achievement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with the planning and delivery of vibrant, tailored lessons that cater to a wide range of pupil abilities
  • Help students engage with curriculum content and build fundamental academic skills
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive learning space that encourages active participation and a genuine interest in education
  • Track and document student progress, providing essential support and constructive feedback along the way

Requirements:

  • Practical, non-teaching experience in a school setting assisting students
  • Highly proficient in both verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Familiarity with the school environment, including experience with personal care requirements
  • A calm, patient approach when supporting students with different learning rates, complex needs, or challenging behaviours
  • A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for a new one immediately
  • Legal right to work within the UK
  • Prepared to start work straight away
