We are on the lookout for an empathetic and focused SEN Support Specialist to provide individualised assistance and drive pupil achievement. Working with Randstad Education to support local schools by providing premier educators and support staff who help pupils reach their full potential.
Job Responsibility:
Assist with the planning and delivery of vibrant, tailored lessons that cater to a wide range of pupil abilities
Help students engage with curriculum content and build fundamental academic skills
Create a nurturing, inclusive learning space that encourages active participation and a genuine interest in education
Track and document student progress, providing essential support and constructive feedback along the way
Requirements:
Practical, non-teaching experience in a school setting assisting students
Highly proficient in both verbal and non-verbal communication, essential for explaining tasks and identifying student needs
Familiarity with the school environment, including experience with personal care requirements
A calm, patient approach when supporting students with different learning rates, complex needs, or challenging behaviours
A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for a new one immediately
