Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with various special educational needs
• Work alongside class teachers to carry out individual learning plans
• Help foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Assist with lesson preparation and track student progress
• Mentor students and encourage them to reach their full potential
• Maintain a supportive and engaging learning environment
• Take part in school events and activities
• Keep detailed records of student development

• At least six months of experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK school
• A caring and empathetic approach to supporting students with SEN
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, staff, and parents
• Strong organisational skills
• A valid Enhanced DBS check (or the willingness to get one)
• A relevant educational qualification is preferred
• A collaborative team player
