Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in Sefton. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a direct impact on the educational journey of students with special needs.
Job Responsibility:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with various special educational needs
Work alongside class teachers to carry out individual learning plans
Help foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Assist with lesson preparation and track student progress
Mentor students and encourage them to reach their full potential
Maintain a supportive and engaging learning environment
Take part in school events and activities
Keep detailed records of student development
Requirements:
At least six months of experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK school
A caring and empathetic approach to supporting students with SEN
Excellent communication skills for working with students, staff, and parents
Strong organisational skills
A valid Enhanced DBS check (or the willingness to get one)
A relevant educational qualification is preferred
A collaborative team player
