Job Description:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in creating a stable, supportive environment for our pupils. This is a opportunity for someone who wants to move away from "one-size-fits-all" education and focus on what children truly need.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting primary-aged boys with complex SEMH and ASC needs
  • Working collaboratively with therapists and support teams to meet EHCP requirements
  • Personalising your approach to suit different learning styles and sensory needs
  • Maintaining a safe, respectful, and encouraging classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

  • A resilient, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Experience or a strong interest in SEMH and ASC
  • The ability to build trust with pupils who may have had negative experiences with education
  • A commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children
