Job Description:

Are you looking for a role where you can make a tangible difference every single day? We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community. We support pupils aged 2-11 who have a range of severe learning difficulties (SLD), as well as complex medical and care needs. This is a role that requires heart, patience, and a 'can-do' attitude. While the environment is busy and the work is challenging, the rewards of seeing our pupils achieve their individual milestones are unmatched.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support pupils aged 2-11 who have a range of severe learning difficulties (SLD) and complex medical and care needs
  • Work hours 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM daily (8.30 AM start one morning per week for staff meetings)

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Background in medical or health care with experience in complex care needs
  • Team player with a calm demeanour and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • CACHE level 1 or 2 qualification
