Are you a champion for inclusive education? We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and resilient individual dedicated to advocating for students with complex learning and emotional needs. Join our supportive team as an SEN Teaching Assistant and play a pivotal role in our Inclusion department. This is a unique opportunity to work across a broad age range of 4-18, providing tailored support to students from Early Years through to Post-16. You will ensure they not only achieve their educational potential but also gain the confidence to transition successfully through every stage of their schooling and into adulthood.

  • Age-Appropriate Support: Adapt your approach to support children developing foundational skills in Primary, through to young adults preparing for life after school
  • Proactive Behaviour Management: Utilise positive strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment
  • Collaboration: Monitor progress and provide detailed feedback to teachers, the SENCo, and external agencies like Educational Psychologists
  • Pastoral Care: Support emotional well-being and assist with personal care or mobility where required (full training provided)
