Job Description

Are you passionate about empowering children and young people with complex needs to thrive? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to join our amazing and supportive team at a residential special school in Lingfield. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of pupils aged 4 to 19, including those with epilepsy, autism, learning difficulties, and complex neurological conditions.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and support pupil learning
  • Provide individualised support, helping pupils with their academic, social, emotional, and personal care needs
  • Contribute to making learning exciting and accessible for every pupil

Requirements

  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Level 2/Grade C or above)
  • A strong understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
  • Access to your own transport
  • A genuine passion for working with children with special needs and a desire to make a difference
  • A collaborative team player, eager to share ideas and work effectively with others
  • A proactive learner, keen to develop new skills and knowledge to best support pupils

Nice to have

  • experience in administering medication
