Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Worthing. We cater to pupils aged 4-11 with a wide range of complex needs. We move away from traditional year-group structures, instead placing our students in groups tailored specifically to their individual learning requirements and developmental stages. This ensures every child receives the bespoke support they deserve. As an SEN TA, you won't just be sitting at a desk. You will be an active participant in a child's developmental journey. You will work closely with Class Teachers and Therapists to deliver a curriculum that is sensory, engaging, and highly physical. We believe that learning happens everywhere-not just in a classroom. Our staff and pupils have access to an incredible suite of specialist resources, including: Hydrotherapy Pool & Rebound Therapy (Trampoline-based therapy); Forest School for outdoor exploration; Sensory & Dark Rooms for regulation and stimulation; Immersive Room for interactive digital learning; Climbing Wall & Soft Play to develop motor skills and confidence.
