Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to join a vibrant primary special school community in Worthing. The school supports 222 pupils aged 4-11, all of whom have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). You will have access to world-class facilities including Hydrotherapy Pool & Rebound Therapy, Forest School & Climbing Wall, Sensory, Dark, and Immersive Rooms, Soft Play areas.

Job Responsibility

  • Work alongside teachers, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists to help pupils overcome barriers across Cognition and Learning
  • Communication and Interaction

  • Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH)

Requirements

  • Ability to track progression in attainment
