Job Responsibility
Provide personalized support to students with special educational needs, working in partnership with teachers and therapists
Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging students to grow in confidence and independence
Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies
Offer support with students' personal care and mobility needs, where necessary
Build strong, trusting relationships with students, families, and staff, contributing to a collaborative school community
Support the emotional and social development of students, helping them navigate challenges in a compassionate and patient manner
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEN) is preferred
Patience, empathy, and adaptability are essential qualities for this role
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
