Job Responsibility:
Designing and teaching stimulating, tailored lessons for pupils with a wide spectrum of special needs
Modifying educational content utilising frameworks like the P Scales-to guarantee curriculum access and relevance for all learners
Cultivating an affirming, safe learning space that champions student emotional health and academic progress
Engaging in close consultation with support staff, teaching assistants, and the wider school team to deliver holistic student care
Providing essential personal care to students as required by their individual needs
Requirements:
Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), recognised in the UK
Substantial, verifiable history of instructing pupils with SEN within a UK educational environment
Competence in curriculum differentiation (e.g., P Scales), inclusive pedagogy, and maintaining effective class discipline
High levels of compassion, resilience, superior interpersonal skills, and a strong collaborative spirit
Must either already hold an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service or be prepared to submit an application without delay
