Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to students with diverse special educational needs, ensuring every student is supported
Utilise formal and informal assessment methods to track student progress, using this data to inform and adjust your teaching strategies
Modify learning materials and resources to guarantee full accessibility for all learners, catering to their unique requirements
Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to provide comprehensive support for each student
Foster and maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom atmosphere, including effectively managing classroom behaviour
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching students with various special educational needs in the UK
A current, clear Enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one promptly
A strong grasp of SEN policies, intervention strategies, and current educational best practices
Demonstrable resilience, patience, initiative, and strong classroom leadership skills
