Job Description:

Randstad Education is looking for a passionate and qualified SEN Teacher to fill a rewarding full-time, long-term position in Knowsley. If you're driven to support students with diverse learning needs and ready to contribute to a positive school setting, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to students with various special educational needs
  • Using formal and informal assessment methods to track student progress, analysing data to continually inform and adjust instruction
  • Modifying learning materials and resources to ensure they are fully accessible to meet all diverse learning requirements
  • Working closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to provide holistic support
  • Creating and maintaining a positive, structured, inclusive classroom atmosphere, including managing classroom behaviour effectively

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching students with a range of SEN within the UK education system
  • A current, clear Enhanced DBS check (or immediate willingness to obtain one)
  • A thorough understanding of SEN policies, effective intervention strategies, and current best practices
  • Demonstrated resilience, patience, initiative, and strong classroom leadership skills
