Job Description

This position is a critical pivot role to support the MDM team at Baxter. The Data Quality analyst works with different component of the MDM team (delivery , operational and governance). functional and technical stakeholders and experts The individual is a subject matter expert on the MD processes and technologies utilized at Baxter. The individual has a strong business acumen. This role will have a local and will be part of a team of 5-7 MD colleagues. This role works closely and virtually with the MD modeling and MD operations teams. This individual will be asked to help foster a data driven culture for our internal and external customers. He or she will partner closely with business owners to deliver the data elements and accessibility across the organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Support Baxter global data governance strategy to ensure high quality data is maintained in, and presented from Baxter data sources
  • Support the global MDM operational processes across data domains and sub-domains
  • Manage compliance for key business data (like X-Levels, product categorization, etc.)
  • Support the designs, and builds user requirements in partnership with functional and technical stakeholders
  • Performs thorough data analysis and works with data tools to find root causes and resolutions
  • Organizes the deployment and transition to MD operations and IT support of MD projects
  • Partners with the MD Governance team to resolve data quality issues

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, working with people with a technical and business background
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, life cycles, governance, and best practice
  • Able to problem solve local and regional data issues, within the global context, to meet strategic goals
  • Able to work with internal teams and third-party suppliers outside of the immediate data team, ensuring delivery against agreed service levels
  • Able to work within a global context and remote teams, across different time zones
  • Able to work with all levels within the organization
  • Able to work under pressure, to strict deadlines
  • Experience with MDM data quality governance
  • Knowledge of DB inquiry tools is a must
  • English fluency
  • Flexibility to interact with other time zones

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Syndigo or another MDM tool is beneficial
  • Knowledge of JDE is beneficial
  • Experience working within a pharmaceutical environment
